Important Announcement!

Hey there Reader,

Happy March!

As you know, I typically use the Bookcast Newsletter to give you recommendations for amazing reads, but this month I want to share a quick update about the podcast.

Effective today the Bookcast is going on hiatus for a couple of months. Everything is fine. Everyone is well. I just need some time to focus on writing projects and some other fun stuff going on in the life of our family and taking a break from podcasting is the best way to find that time.

Things to know:

• The Bookcast will be back on June 4, if not sooner. Probably not sooner.
• Volume 8 of Behind the Rain: An Audio Anthology of Oklahoma Poetry will still go out as planned on April 15. Poets - get your submissions to me!
• I’ll feature an archived episode on Tuesday each week - it will be a great way to catch up!
• I’ll still be showing up on a couple of other podcasts during this time and will be sure to let everyone know about those appearances via social media.
• I’ll still be celebrating and cheering for every Oklahoma author and storyteller I can.

I hope I say it enough, but in case I don’t, thank you! We just recently passed the 10,000 download mark, which is impossible for me to believe, and it’s all because of friends like you. Thank you for listening and for spreading the word about this little show.

I’ll talk to you soon. Hopefully with a new book (or two) under my belt.
